Luke & Alisan Billman

Luke has known Nic longer than anyone else on the team since he was there when Nic was born as "the big brother"!  As brothers they were pretty typical for boys 3 1/2 years apart - some days they got along and some they didn't! Their relationship now is stronger than ever and they are good friends bonded by Father's love and not just their earthly parents.

Luke and Alisan have been married for 2 years now, though they have known and sought each other out for many many years prior to that. The love of God brought them back together and has helped them in raising three beautiful children (Elliott, Ada, and Leyton) in a very spiritual and prophetic way of life. Their story is not uncommon and neither is the way the Lord called them into ministry. They were living their life minding their own business and one day God plucked them out smacked them in the face and showed them what it meant to love. They pray daily for The Father to break their hearts more and more for the nation of Brazil and it's people, and they know through prayer and confirmation that they are being called to be a part of something bigger and greater than them in Curitiba. In June of 2011they will be listing their house for sale and waiting for the Lord to provide a buyer so they can move to Curitiba on a permanent basis. In the meantime, Luke and Alisan are planning shorter week long trips to Brazil to spread the love of God, get acquainted with the area, and find housing. Luke and Alisan move in the spirit through prayer and intercession for the broken.

While Luke has many life experiences that help him to be able to relate to people who feel there is no hope, Alisan is able to listen with the ears of the Lord from her spiritual background and educational background of a B.A. in Psychology. If you would like to hear more of their testimonies or have them speak you can contact them through Facebook or here at Shores of Grace.
