When you give to Shores of Grace, you’re investing in real, hands-on support for those facing the daily realities of trafficking, abuse, and extreme poverty. Your donation provides legal defense for children who’ve experienced violence, trauma-informed therapy, safe housing for girls removed from dangerous homes, weekly outreach to street-connected youth, and one-on-one discipleship for women in prostitution. Every gift helps us show up consistently - with advocacy, provision, and the love of Christ - right where it's needed most.

How do we use our funds?
At Shores of Grace, we have the responsibility of maintaining transparency and accountability of our finances. Our ministry is completely sustained by our generous partners and supporters, along with the work and dedication of our full-time missionaries. Our organization has scored well through an evaluation with Great Non-Profits and we are also participants in GuideStar!
Prevention: We believe that prevention is extremely important when it comes to the children, adolescents, and families in the communities we serve. We don’t want to see them on the streets or red-light districts in the future. Because of this, we invest time with them, recreation, basic education, sports, food baskets, assistance with bills, social services, and residential visits.
Rescue: Adults and children who have been abused or live in an at-risk situation may have never lived in a safe and stable environment before. For this reason, we work to rescue children through our rescue home, Vila Betânia, and work through intervention with women and men who work as prostitutes on the streets of Recife. When you donate to Shores Of Grace, you are helping us to provide a safe and structured home for these children as well as providing assistance, such as food baskets, help with bills, professional care, gas, and groceries to maintain the ministry that goes to the red-light district every week, so that more and more people are able to leave prostitution and be truly free. In Philadelphia we help in much the same way, providing transportation, food boxes, clothing and help finding shelter or rehab facilities for at-risk adults and children living on the streets or in abusive situations.
Restoration: All of our ministries aim to restore the people we reach. That’s why, with your help, we are able to employ quality professionals as part of our team to accompany these people on the path to healing. In addition to maintaining our staff and the costs of our buildings (including our rescue home and base) , we also offer basic education, vocational training, social assistance, employment opportunities at Shores Cafe and our base, counseling and discipleship, food, clean clothes, and personal hygiene items.
