Street Church
Street Church is a Spirit-led outreach where
each person is treated as a son and daughter
Our rescue home holds up to 20 children—but thousands more still live on the streets. In Brazil, 18% of children are homeless. Many are already victims of abuse, exploitation, or violence. But we believe that in the arms of Jesus, there are no labels—only sons and daughters.
Twice a week, our team goes into one of Recife’s busiest public squares. It’s a place marked by darkness—but we’ve seen the Light of the World meet us there again and again.
We roll out a red carpet, set out crafts and face paints, and invite children and families into a space of joy and connection. We’ve built friendships with single mothers, grandmothers, and kids of all ages—each one seen and deeply loved by the Father.
Our missionaries spread out with no agenda but love. Through soccer, worship, prayer, and conversations, we create space for hearts to open and lives to be touched. No matter the activity, our heart is for everyone to encounter the Father. It’s often messy, always loud—but full of the beauty that comes when people experience the presence of God right where they are.
